Through the freedom of drama, music and dance we explore the issues that can impact on our mental health & wellbeing – all in a safe and fun environment…
We work with nursery, primary and secondary schools as well as youth groups and other community organisations.

Fully Qualified Staff
Our lead practitioner, Fiona, has a Diploma in Teaching Performance Arts,a BA in Theatre Arts and Post Graduate qualifications in Childhood & Youth Studies as well as, Children, Young People & Family Mental Health, with a special interest in using performing arts to improve mental health and wellbeing.

Our teaching plans for in-school sessions tie in with the curriculum for excellence making our services the perfect addition to your school programme. Our programmes can be tailored to the needs of your school or establishment.
Why Acting Up!
Acting Up! was established to provide a fun and informal way of allowing children and young people to better express themselves and become more mindful of their state of wellbeing - and that of those around them. To this end, participants can become more emotionally healthy, getting in tune with their feelings and emotions and become more empathetic towards others. Benefits can also be seen in terms of self-confidence, concentration, self-esteem, behaviour, speech, self-expression and energy levels.
Courses can be tailored to your individual needs.
